The thing that makes Feeney's different from other yogurt places is that is you serve yourself; picking from 6 different yogurt flavors, and tons of toppings, then you pay by the weight. It was a little overwhelming and hard not to put every delicious topping on mine but I knew moderation was key. I had been pre-warned by JMJE that going overboard could result in a stomach ache (and also using way too many WW points).
My frozen yogurt creation contained low fat chocolate yogurt, a little bit of cake batter low fat yogurt (delicious by the way), graham crackers, strawberries, and a few chocolate chips. I think I showed good self control. I mean the pretzel m&ms, hot fudge sauce, and marshmallow toppings all looked delicious but I held myself back. I didn't want a stomach ache nor did I want to break the bank with WW points. Overall my trip was a success and it's probably a good thing that Feeney's is an hour away. Thanks JMJE and B for taking Matt and I to our debut trip to Feeney's.
*Update - I have been informed by JMJE that there are actually 8 flavors at Feeney's to pick from not 6. Sorry Feeney's I should have consulted with your best customer before posting. :)
I don't think I did as well on my topping selection. Although I did have some bananas under the fudge and peanut butter. However, I did eat a salad for dinner. I assume that makes it all ok.
ReplyDeleteLeave it to me to stick to plain ol' vanilla. I at least mixed it up with M&Ms plus Reese's Pieces plus peanut butter cups. It definitely lived up to the hype!
ReplyDeletewish i could have gone.... i will go next time for sure. yummm......
